Biography

Blue Danube was an Austrian band, especially formed to represent Austria in the 1980 Eurovision Song Contest. Their song was called “Du bist Musik”. The single that was released contained two other songs: “Holiday” and “Rock ‘n’ roller skates”. The Eurovision Song Contest was the only thing the group did together. Marty Brem started a solo career and took part in the contest again in 1981 with the song “Wenn du da bist”. Wolfgang ‘Marc’ Berry worked as a composer and was responsible for two other Eurovision entries: “Keine Mauern mehr” for Simone in 1990 and “One step” for Bettina Soriat in 1997.
