Biography
Blond was a boy band in the 1990s. The group consisted of Jonas Karlhager, Gabriel Forss and Patrik Lundström. The group participated in the Melodifestivalen 1997 with the the song “Bara hon älskar mig” They won the competition and represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest in Dublin, Ireland. The group also recorded the song with English text. It was entitled “Baby, I’ll Die For You”.
In the summer of 1997 the group toured in Sweden and performed in national parks and also at the Water Festival in Stockholm. Blond released an album, but then went in different directions. They were temporarily reunited for the Schlager Evening at Stockholm Pride in 2006.
