Biography

Stefán Hilmarsson (26-6-1966) is an Icelandic singer whose career started in 1987. From 1988 til 2018 he was the singer of the famous rockband Sálin hans Jóns míns. He represented Iceland in the 1991 Eurovision Song Contest as the half of the duo Stefán & Eyfi. Apart from Sálin, Stefán released seven solo albums.
Sverrir Stromsker (6-9-1963) is an Icelandic musician, poet and novelist. He released six solo albums, wrote three and four novels.
Together, the two established the duo Beathoven. They entered the national selection for the 1988 Eurovision Song Contest with a song called “Þú Og Þeir”. They won and changed the title into the more international title “Sókrates”. After “Sókrates”, Beathoven did not release any records as a duo.
