Biography

Artsvik Harutyunyan was born in Armenia. When she was 5 years old, Artsvik’s family moves to Moscow. Artsvik studied at the Moscow State Pedagogical University, as she wanted to be a psychologist-speech therapist. 

In 2012, Artsvik became a member of the  band Jazz Parking. In the same year, she successfully participated in the Russian version of the international The Voice.

In a short period of time, Artsvik managed to gain recognition and love not only in Russia, but also in Armenia. She came up with new songs and performances, among which there are a number of folk and Gusan songs (“Du im musan yes”, “T’amam ashkharh”, “Ari, ari”), as well as pop songs (“Why “, “No fear”, “I Say Yes”, “Sestry po duhu”) and others. Artsvik participated in concerts and music festivals throughout Russia and Armenia.

In 2016 she decided to return to Armenia and participate in  “Depi Evratesil”, the Armenian national final for the Eurovision Song Contest. Receiving the highest points from the jury and viewers, Artsvik gets the opportunity to represent Armenia at the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest. During the entire project, Artsvik was supported by team leader, former member of Genealogy, Yesai Altunyan. Artsvik reached the 18th place in the Grand Final.

The follow up song after Eurovision was the song “Mna du”, released in December 2017. Her debut album, “It’s time”, was released in July, 2018. In Russia, she won a departmental award for the contribution and strengthening of friendship between people. In January 2019, she released a new song in Armenian, “Urish molorakic”. In November 2019, she teamed up with Ragda Khanieva for the song “Stay”, followed by “Bang Bang”.

In 2021, Artsvik released “Serdtsem k nebasam”, a song that is an ode to her father. In November of the same year, the song was followed by “Snova vo sne”.
