Biography

Annie Cotton is a Canadian singer, born in Montreal. She played a leading role in a Radio Canada tv-series for young viewers, ‘Watatatow’, between 1991 and 2000. She began her career as a singer and actress at the age of 10 in “The Sound of Music”and the resulting album. Her talent came to the notice of keyboard player and arranger Marc Sorrentino during a concert tour in Quebec. Together with a group of 15 top musicians he worked on Annie’s first album. In 1993, she was chosen to represent Switzerland in the Eurovision Song Contest. In 2007, she appeared in the Canadian long time daily soap “Virginie” and played the role of singer Annie Cloutier.
