Ani Lorak, born Karolina Myroslavivna Kuiek on September 27, 1978, in Kitsman, Chernivtsi Oblast, Ukraine, is a Ukrainian singer, actress, and entrepreneur. She spent her childhood in Chernivtsi and developed an early interest in music. Her stage name, Ani Lorak, is her first name spelled backward.
