Biography
Aivaras is a Lithuanian musician and philosopher. He is a gratuated doctor in philosophy. After singing in a band from 1998 untill 2001, he decided to start a solo career. He was nominated as the artists of the year for the 2001 Bravo awards. In the national selections for the Eurovision Song Contest 2002, he placed second. Nevertheless, he was allowed to represent Lithuania, because the winners B’Avarija were disqualified. (The song had been released the previous year under the title “Mes čia!” Under the rules in 2002, a song may not be released before 1 January of the year of the relevant contest) He released his first solo album “Aivaras”
