Next saturday, Malta will select it’s participant…. not it’s song yet. The participant will be the winner of X-Factor Malta. Tonight, four finalists were chosen: Kyle Cutajar Justine Shorfid Destiny Chukunyere F.A.I.T.H.   Tonight, the audience decided that the duos Yazmin & James and Bloodline had to leave the competition.  Top favourite to win this competition is still Destiny Chukunyere, who won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest before, but she is closely followed by the all girl group F.A.I.T.H.

It is known! The four finalists in Israel are: Ella-Lee Lahav Orr Amrami-Brokman Eden Alene Gaya Shaki In an exciting semifinal, juries and audience decided that these four will compete for the ticket to the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam. Especially Orr, who broke all the records in the beginning of the contest, impressed the jury and audience tonight. It was a landslide victory for him tonight. Will it be a landslide upcoming tuesday as well? We will see; all depends on tuesday’s performances.

Poland starts, Israel and Malta continue!

Poland will start their national selection today, where in Malta and Israel the group of possible contestants becomes smaller and smaller. Poland will have it’s first semifinal of the show Szansa na sukces this afternoon at 15.10 CET. It will be transmitted via TVP2, but it is not known whether there will be a live stream on the internet or not. We keep you updated. Seven artists will compete. They will all present an Abba-song. Three of them will head to the final on 23 february. Two Israeli finalists known

Today, the first semifinal of Hakhohav Haba L’Eurovizion are known. It all started with two duels: Ella-Lee Lahav (91%) vs Ohad Shragai (60%) Lali Kolishkin vs (80%) vs Eden Alene (64%) Eden Alene was saved by the juries. The three girls now had to battle for two final places. The results were as follows: Lali Kolishkin, 72 pt. Ella-Lee Lahav, 84 pt. Eden Alene, 84 pt. That means we will see Ella-Lee Lahav and Eden Alene back in the final!

Georgian song title announced

At the last day of 2019, Tornike Kipiani won Georgian Idol. Therewith, he won the ticket to the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam. Today he announced the title of his entry: “Take me as I am”. The song is described as a mix of classic rock, electro and dubstep.Tornike also revealed his backing vocals in Rotterdam: Mariko Lezhava, Mariam Shengelia and Aleko Berdzenishvili.It is not known when the song will be presented.

Two Israeli finalists known

Today, the first semifinal of Hakhohav Haba L’Eurovizion are known. It all started with two duels: Ella-Lee Lahav (91%) vs Ohad Shragai (60%) Lali Kolishkin vs (80%) vs Eden Alene (64%) Eden Alene was saved by the juries. The three girls now had to battle for two final places. The results were as follows: Lali Kolishkin, 72 pt. Ella-Lee Lahav, 84 pt. Eden Alene, 84 pt. That means we will see Ella-Lee Lahav and Eden Alene back in the final!

Five countries will act tonight

No less than five countries will show at least something today. Moldova starts today. You can watch the live auditions at 14:00 CET here, where 35 artists will perform, in order to make a selection for the national final. 35, while 36 songs are in the race: Angel Kiss perform to songs.  Norway continues with their semifinals. Georgian song title announced

At the last day of 2019, Tornike Kipiani won Georgian Idol. Therewith, he won the ticket to the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam. Today he announced the title of his entry: “Take me as I am”. The song is described as a mix of classic rock, electro and dubstep.Tornike also revealed his backing vocals in Rotterdam: Mariko Lezhava, Mariam Shengelia and Aleko Berdzenishvili.It is not known when the song will be presented.
