Louane will represent France in the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest. That is what the singer herself announced on her Instagram today. She will present her song later. Louane, born Anne Peichert on November 26, 1996, in Hénin-Beaumont, France, is a French singer, songwriter, and actress. She rose to fame in 2013 as a semi-finalist on The Voice: La Plus Belle Voix. Shortly after, she made her film debut in La Famille Bélier (2014), earning a César Award for Most Promising Actress. Her debut album, Chambre 12 (2015), topped the French charts and was certified diamond. Louane’s pop and chanson sound, combined with emotional lyrics, resonated with fans. She followed up with Louane (2017) and Joie de vivre (2020), reinforcing her status as a leading French pop artist. Louane is also known for her engaging personality, and strong connection with her audience. She continues to evolve, blending pop, electro, and heartfelt ballads. With multiple awards and millions of fans, Louane remains a defining voice in modern French music. Louane will represent France, going directly to the final. France is one of the 5 countries placed directly in the final, along with the host country. “La Pluie” is one of the more recent songs Louane released. It is clearly not her Eurovision song!

JJ repesents Austria in the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest. Austrian broadcaster ORF just announced that news today. The search for Austria’s representative for the 69th Eurovision Song Contest started in early summer 2024. Experienced Eurovision talent scouts explored the Austrian music scene, looking for the perfect act. For the first time, a dedicated songwriting camp brought together authors, composers, and performers to create the song for Eurovision 2025. In the next phase, a national and international jury of 30 experts evaluated the most promising entries. Additionally, representatives from nearly 30 OGAE fan clubs across five countries, along with the ORF ESC editorial team, contributed their votes. In the end, JJ was chosen to represent Austria at Eurovision 2025! Fans can now look forward to Austria’s next big performance on the Eurovision stage. Johannes “JJ” Pietsch is a 23-year-old Austrian-Filipino countertenor known for his impressive vocal range. Born in Vienna in 2001, he spent part of his childhood in Dubai before returning to Austria in 2016. JJ gained national recognition in 2021 as a finalist on ORF’s “Starmania”, where he impressed audiences with his unique voice. Currently, he performs at the Vienna State Opera, appearing in productions like Die Zauberflöte and Von der Liebe Tod. He is also studying at the Music and Art Private University of Vienna under Univ.-Prof. Kammersängerin Linda Watson. And now, JJ repesents Austria in the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest.

Greece makes a choice tonight. Out of twelve songs, a 50% public vote, 25% Greek vote and 25% international jury will decide. The show is called Ethnikós Telikós 2025. It starts at 20:00 CET and you can watch it here. Note that you have to sign up at ERTFLIX, but don’t worry: it’s free and it’s easy. This is the first time since 2017 that Greece has a national final. We even have to go back to 2015 for a contest with multiple artists. Louane, born Anne Peichert on November 26, 1996, in Hénin-Beaumont, France, is a French singer, songwriter, and actress. She rose to fame in 2013 as a semi-finalist on The Voice: La Plus Belle Voix. Shortly after, she made her film debut in La Famille Bélier (2014), earning a César Award for Most Promising Actress. Her debut album, Chambre 12 (2015), topped the French charts and was certified diamond. Louane’s pop and chanson sound, combined with emotional lyrics, resonated with fans. She followed up with Louane (2017) and Joie de vivre (2020), reinforcing her status as a leading French pop artist. Louane is also known for her engaging personality, and strong connection with her audience. She continues to evolve, blending pop, electro, and heartfelt ballads. With multiple awards and millions of fans, Louane remains a defining voice in modern French music. Louane will represent France, going directly to the final. France is one of the 5 countries placed directly in the final, along with the host country. “La Pluie” is one of the more recent songs Louane released. It is clearly not her Eurovision song!

🇦🇹 JJ repesents Austria

JJ repesents Austria in the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest. Austrian broadcaster ORF just announced that news today. The search for Austria’s representative for the 69th Eurovision Song Contest started in early summer 2024. Experienced Eurovision talent scouts explored the Austrian music scene, looking for the perfect act. For the first time, a dedicated songwriting camp brought together authors, composers, and performers to create the song for Eurovision 2025. In the next phase, a national and international jury of 30 experts evaluated the most promising entries. Additionally, representatives from nearly 30 OGAE fan clubs across five countries, along with the ORF ESC editorial team, contributed their votes. In the end, JJ was chosen to represent Austria at Eurovision 2025! Fans can now look forward to Austria’s next big performance on the Eurovision stage. Johannes “JJ” Pietsch is a 23-year-old Austrian-Filipino countertenor known for his impressive vocal range. Born in Vienna in 2001, he spent part of his childhood in Dubai before returning to Austria in 2016. JJ gained national recognition in 2021 as a finalist on ORF’s “Starmania”, where he impressed audiences with his unique voice. Currently, he performs at the Vienna State Opera, appearing in productions like Die Zauberflöte and Von der Liebe Tod. He is also studying at the Music and Art Private University of Vienna under Univ.-Prof. Kammersängerin Linda Watson. And now, JJ repesents Austria in the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest.

Greece makes a choice tonight. Out of twelve songs, a 50% public vote, 25% Greek vote and 25% international jury will decide. The show is called Ethnikós Telikós 2025. It starts at 20:00 CET and you can watch it here. Note that you have to sign up at ERTFLIX, but don’t worry: it’s free and it’s easy. This is the first time since 2017 that Greece has a national final. We even have to go back to 2015 for a contest with multiple artists.
