Lithuania selects a Eurovision entry!

After two heats and two semifinals, tonight Lithuania will select a Eurovision entry. Out of ten songs, the entry will be chosen by 50% jury and 50% televoting. The show starts at 20:00 CET and you can watch it here and on YouTube. The competing songs are: 1 Mario Junes Do what you do 2 MoonBee Rumor 3 Justė Kraujelytė Need more fun 4 Paulina Paukštaitytė Let me think about me 5 Beatrich Like a movie 6 Rūta Mur So low 7 Il Senso Sparnai 8 Petunija Love of my life 9 Gabrielus Vagelis Sauksmas 10 Monika Linkytė Stay Justė Kraujelytė was there last year and became 6th.Petunija took part in 2016 (heats) and 2022 (semifinal).Gabrielus Vagelis took part in 2013 (semifinals), 2017 (5th), 2020 (semifinals), 2021 (semifinals).Monika Linkytė took part in 2010 (10th), in 2011 (4th), in 2014 (heats) and represented Lithuania in 2015 together with Vaidas Baumila with the song “This time”.

Marco Mengoni represents Italy

After he won the Festival Di Sanremo yesterday, Marco Mengoni confirmed today that he will go to Eurovision. He confirmed that during the winners press conference this afternoon. The signs that he would do the job were already there. Yesterday, he said in a BBC-interview that he would like to go. Marco Mengoni will sing the song “Due vite” in Liverpool. The song is written by Marco himself with Davide Pretella and Davide Simonetta. Italy is placed directly for the final.

The Busker wins Maltese selection

Maltese band The Busker has won the national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2023. The Band reached the first place in MESC2023 with the song “Dance (our own party)”, written by David Meilak and composed by David Meilak, Jean Paul Borg, Matthew James Borg, Michael Joe Cini and Sean Meachen. It is not sure whether “Dance (our own party)” will be the Maltese entry, as this is not obliged according to the rules of MESC. Malta will perform in the first half of the first semifinal. Alika wins Eesti Laul 2023

Photo by Mats Oun Alika has won Eesti Laul 2023, and will represent Estonia at the Eurovision Song Contest with her song “Bridges”!   She went on the Superfinal, together with the rockband Bedwetters, and Ollie. In the end it was between Alika and Ollie, where she took eventual the victory. Marco Mengoni represents Italy

After he won the Festival Di Sanremo yesterday, Marco Mengoni confirmed today that he will go to Eurovision. He confirmed that during the winners press conference this afternoon. The signs that he would do the job were already there. Yesterday, he said in a BBC-interview that he would like to go. Marco Mengoni will sing the song “Due vite” in Liverpool. The song is written by Marco himself with Davide Pretella and Davide Simonetta. Italy is placed directly for the final.

The Busker wins Maltese selection

Maltese band The Busker has won the national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2023. The Band reached the first place in MESC2023 with the song “Dance (our own party)”, written by David Meilak and composed by David Meilak, Jean Paul Borg, Matthew James Borg, Michael Joe Cini and Sean Meachen. It is not sure whether “Dance (our own party)” will be the Maltese entry, as this is not obliged according to the rules of MESC. Malta will perform in the first half of the first semifinal. Alika wins Eesti Laul 2023

Photo by Mats Oun Alika has won Eesti Laul 2023, and will represent Estonia at the Eurovision Song Contest with her song “Bridges”!   She went on the Superfinal, together with the rockband Bedwetters, and Ollie. In the end it was between Alika and Ollie, where she took eventual the victory.
