Eurovision 2021

1st Rehearsal Israel

Israeli Eden Alene is anything but alone on stage. She is surrounded for three minutes by a group of dancers in the midst of which she also dances. The whole act takes place on a plateau of bluish triangles. Eden experiences that dancing and singing are quite difficult at the same time; towards the end of the song she gets a little breathless. At the very end, she provides another surprise: in the last second she suddenly has a completely different hairstyle! In Cooperation with     Eurovision Artists Photo Credits: EBU

Rehearsal Belgium

Sober and yet by no means boring, that’s how we could describe the performance of the Belgian band Hooverphonic. Singer Geike Arnaert stands amid four platforms on which the musicians play their instruments. Geike as well as the others are dressed in black. In the background, on the LED screens, we see Geike again. Her singing also makes a deep impression in the virtual press center. The group shows that a song can still make a big impression without too much adornment.   in cooperation with Eurovision Artists   photo credits: EBU

1st Rehearsal Croatia

Albina sings in English, but also in Croatian. She does this on a background of pink and blue laser beams. The dance and the stage are fine. Vocally, there is still some work to be done, especially the high notes still sounded very impure In Cooperation with     Eurovision Artists Photo Credits: EBU

1st Rehearsal Norway

Just like during the National Final, TIX is dressed in a long white cloak and wears wings and is cuffed in chains. The dancers portray the demons and are dressed in black, including black wings. Vocally, he comes across as weak and nervous, which he probably fully realizes himself, as he ends his rehearsal with “Oh F * ck!” In Cooperation with     Eurovision Artists Photo Credits: EBU

Today we have watched the first rehearsals of day one. In our opinion Lithuania (The Roop) and Russia ( Manizha) stood out. Sweden and Slovenia also did well. Australia is hard to judge, as there was no Rehearsal live in Rotterdam. North Macedonia and Ireland have some work to do. In Cooperation With Eurovisian Artists  Credits Photos and Videos: EBU

First Rehearsal Ireland

Expectations were high after the announcement of a spectacular staging. For the time being, the whole thing comes across as a bit messy. Lesley Roy, dressed in green, also failed to live up to expectations vocally. There is work to be done for Ireland. Given the look on her face after the rehearsal, she knows that like no other. First Rehearsal Sweden

At the beginning of this month, Tusse suffered from voice problems, after a surgery. Fortunately he now seems to have less problems with that. The act is, as usual with Sweden, almost the same as during the National Final. Tusse is wearing a red sleeveless suit, long black gloves, with silver stitching on them.
