Pasha Parfeny will return to the contest for Moldova

Pasha Parfeny won Etapa Națională, the Moldovan national final. He will therefore represent Moldova in the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool. The song is called “Soarele şi luna”and was written by Iuliana Parfeni and composed by Pasha himself and Andrei Vulpe.  It is not the first time represents Moldova. did it before in and became. Tonight Serbia will also select a song for the Eurovision Song Contest. Through the national final Pesma za Evroviziju, which contains 16 songs, a 50/50 jury/televoting jury will select the song. Iceland will select their entry tonight through the Söngvakepnnin final. Five songs from the two semifinals will be sung. The rule for the semifinal was that all of them should be sung in Icelandic. For now, they will all be sung in a language of choice. However, this year at least four of the songs are in English. The show starts at 20.45 CET and you can watch it here. Tonight Moldova will select an entry. Will it be one of the returning artists we see back in Liverpool? Ten songs will compete in Etapa Națională. Portugal continues the national final Festival Da Canção tonight. The tradition is that there will be two semifinals and a final. Every semifinal contains 10 songs, the final will have 12. That means that from tonight’s semifinal, five songs will go through to the final via televoting, one chosen by an expert jury. The show will be broadcast on 22:00 CET and you can watch it here and here. Cyprus: Andrew Lambrou presents entry

photo: instagram Today was the day that Andrew Lambrou presented his entry. Andrew will represent Cyprus with the song “Break a broken heart”. The song is written by Jimmy ‘Joker’ Thornfeldt, Jimmy Jansson, Thomas Stengaard and Marcus Winther-John. Jimmy ‘Joker’ Thornfeldt and Thomas Stengaard already wrote “Adrenalina” (San Marino) and “El diablo” (Cyprus), Thornfeldt also wrote “Voices” (Sweden), all in 2021. Stengaard also wrote “Fade to black” (Azerbeidzjan) in 2022, “Sister” in 2019 and “You let me walk alone” in 2018, both for Germany. His Eurovision debut was a winning one: “Only teardrops” for Emmelie de Forrest (Denmark) in 2013. Cyprus: Andrew Lambrou presents entry

photo: instagram Today was the day that Andrew Lambrou presented his entry. Andrew will represent Cyprus with the song “Break a broken heart”. The song is written by Jimmy ‘Joker’ Thornfeldt, Jimmy Jansson, Thomas Stengaard and Marcus Winther-John. Jimmy ‘Joker’ Thornfeldt and Thomas Stengaard already wrote “Adrenalina” (San Marino) and “El diablo” (Cyprus), Thornfeldt also wrote “Voices” (Sweden), all in 2021. Stengaard also wrote “Fade to black” (Azerbeidzjan) in 2022, “Sister” in 2019 and “You let me walk alone” in 2018, both for Germany. His Eurovision debut was a winning one: “Only teardrops” for Emmelie de Forrest (Denmark) in 2013. Pasha Parfeny will return to the contest for Moldova

Pasha Parfeny won Etapa Națională, the Moldovan national final. He will therefore represent Moldova in the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool. The song is called “Soarele şi luna”and was written by Iuliana Parfeni and composed by Pasha himself and Andrei Vulpe.  It is not the first time represents Moldova. did it before in and became. Iceland: Söngvakeppnin final to be held

Iceland will select their entry tonight through the Söngvakepnnin final. Five songs from the two semifinals will be sung. The rule for the semifinal was that all of them should be sung in Icelandic. Portugal: Festival Da Canção has it’s 2nd semifinal

Portugal continues the national final Festival Da Canção tonight. The tradition is that there will be two semifinals and a final. Every semifinal contains 10 songs, the final will have 12. That means that from tonight’s semifinal, five songs will go through to the final via televoting, one chosen by an expert jury.
