The Netherlands: Mia and Dion sing “Burning Daylight”

photo: Avrotros Tonight was the moment the Dutch duo, Mia Nicolaï and Dion Cooper, presented their song. Already in November, it was announced that they were going to represent The Netherlands. The song, which we now know is called “Burning Daylight”, is written and composed by Eurovision winner Duncan Laurence and Jordan Garfield.  After a 15 minute documentary about the song, The Dutch viewers were able to listen to it. Serbia: First semifinal Pesma za Evroviziju

Tonight Serbia starts with their national selection: Pesma za Evroviziju. 16 songs will compete, an expert jury (50%) and televoters (50%). The show will start at 21:00 CET and you can watch it on YouTube. The contestants are: Mattia Zanatta & Angela Kassiani, “Novi svet” Adem Mehmedović, “Osmeh” Nađa, “Moj prvi ožiljak na duši” Tijana Dapčević, “Mamim” Stefan Zdravković, “Cvet sa istoka” Filip Baloš, “Novi plan, drugi san” Filip Zmaher, “Cujemo se sutra” Luke Black, “Samo mi se spava” Angellina, “Lanac” Empathy Soul Project, “Indigo” Stefan Maljković Shy, “Od jastuka do jastuka” Hercenšlus, “Vremenska zona” Savo Perović, “Presidente” Igor Stanojević, “Iza druge” Boris Subotić, “Nedostupan” Chegi & Braća Bluz Band, “Svadba ili kagba”   Tijana Dapčević was 11th last year. She was also 3rd in the North Macedonian national selection in 1996, 4th in 2002 and 4th in 2005. In 2014 she represented North Macedonia with the song “To the sky”.Angellina was 4th last year.Boris Subotić was 10th in last year’s semifinal.Chegi & Braća Bluz Band were 10th in last year’s final.
