Today, also Cyprus presented it’s entry. Sandro Nicolas was already chosen to represent the island, but now we know his song “Running”. Alfie Arcuri, Sebastian Rickards, Octavian Rasinariu and Sandro himself wrote and composed the song. Producer Teo DK is also a co-composer.

Danish final without audience due to Corona virus

Tomorrow, Melodi Grand Prix, the Danish final for the Eurovision Song Contest will be held. However, due to the corona virus, prime minister Mette Frederiksen adviced cancellation for events with an expected audience of more than 1000 people, or having the event without audience. DR (Danmarks Radio, Danish national television) chose to do the latter. That is what DR-spokesman Gustav Lützhøft stated. People who have tickets for Melodi Grand Prix can have their tickets exchanged or their money refunded. DR will contact them about this.

Senhit represents San Marino

Today, SMRTV, the Sammarinese broadcasting corporation, announced their contestant for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam: it’s gonna be Senhit, formerly known as Senit. This Italian singer with Eritrean roots is going to represent San Marino for the second time. She did the same job in 2011. The song will be chosen via a battle. Two songs, “Freaky!” and “Obsessed”.
